AFI’s Top 100 Movies

In 1998, The American Film Institute released a list of the 100 top movies of all time. Here, in order, is that list.  However, it is worth noting that in 2007 they re-released the list with a few changes. You can see those changes here. I’m using the 1998 list because I do not agree with many of the changes they made - including what they removed and what they replaced it with. (Seriously! They replaced The Jazz Singer, the historically important FIRST SOUND PICTURE, with “Swing Time“? Come on! I mean, I have nothing against Swing Time, but it does not deserve to replace The Jazz Singer.) Anyway, enough digression. Here’s the list:
